COVID-19 Procedures

Before Booking

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am currently not offering the following massage services:

  • Prenatal Massage

  • Postpartum Massage

  • In-Person Infant Massage Training (ZOOM training is available)

  • Indian Head Massage

  • Facial Fusion Massage

  • Facial, Hand, or Scalp Massage

I have increased time in between sessions for additional disinfection procedures. I am limiting the number of clients each day to 3 individuals.

The waiting area is closed at this time. Only individuals receiving a service will be admitted to the office.

Massage Procedures

As with all massages, a verbal intake will be performed and the expectations of the session will be outlined. 

​

You are required to wear your mask during the entirety of the session. If you feel your breathing is restricted when face-down on the massage table, alternate positioning (side-lying) can be utilized. Please let your practitioner know of your preferences.

As per normal procedures, your practitioner will leave to sanitize their hands while you are getting on the massage table. Upon reentry to the room, new gloves will be used by the practitioner during all massage procedures.

No facial, hand, or scalp massage will be performed at this time.

Arrival for Massage

Please wait outside or in your car upon arrival for your massage. Your practitioner will come outside to greet you.

Before entering the office:

  • You will be required to fill out a questionnaire and liability statement before each massage session until the pandemic has passed. The statement can be found here.

  • You will have your temperature checked using an infrared thermometer.

  • You must wear a mask at all times. If you do not arrive with a mask, one will be provided for you.

Once the above is completed, you will enter the building and can sanitize your hands by washing them or using hand sanitizer.

​

Your practitioner will lead you to your room where your massage will take place.

Post Massage

At the conclusion of your massage, the practitioner will exit the room to sanitize their hands.

  • Please remain in the massage room until your therapist returns.

  • Check out will be done in the massage room.

  • Your practitioner will then escort you to the exit.
